Access the link creation screen:
Log in to your PlutoLinks account and navigate to the link creation screen by clicking on the “Links” tab and then selecting the “Create Link” button.
Fill out campaign tracking fields:
- Source: Enter the traffic source that will be associated with this link. This could be the website domain, social media platform, or any other source where the link will be shared.
- Medium: Specify the marketing channel through which this link will be promoted. This could include email, social media, CPC (cost-per-click) advertising, etc.
- Campaign: Provide a name or identifier for the marketing campaign or promotion associated with this link. This helps you track the performance of specific campaigns over time.
- Term (Optional): If you’re running paid advertising campaigns and want to track keywords, enter the relevant keywords associated with this link. This field is commonly used for search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns.
- Content (Optional): If you’re running variations of the same ad or campaign, use this field to differentiate between different versions. This could include different ad variants, A/B test variations, etc.
Review and Save:
Double-check the information you’ve provided for accuracy. Once you’re satisfied, save your changes to create the link with campaign tracking (UTMs) enabled.
