# Password Protected Links

> Password protection adds an additional layer of security to your links by requiring visitors to enter a password before accessing the content. This feature is useful for restricting access to sensitive information or exclusive content.

To enable password protection, follow these steps:

    As always, log into your account and click the “Links” tab, click on “Create link”.

  <Step title="Locate the password protection section:">
    Scroll down to the Password protection section and you’ll see a field to set up a password
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review and save:">
    Double-check the password you've entered for accuracy. Once you're satisfied, save your changes to create the password-protected link.
