# Understanding Domains in PlutoLinks

> PlutoLinks provides you with powerful domain customization options to enhance your branding efforts and integrate link management into your online presence.

### Default domain

PlutoLinks offers a default domain **(plutol.ink)** for you to generate short links. This default domain ensures that you can immediately start shortening links and leveraging PlutoLinks' analytics features without any setup required.

### Custom domain integration

You have the flexibility to add your own custom domains to PlutoLinks. This allows you to align the short links with your existing branding and create a cohesive online presence. Whether it's a company domain or a personal website, custom domains help enhance brand recognition and trust among audiences.

### Back-Half customization

In addition to custom domains, PlutoLinks enables you to customize the back-half of your short links. This feature allows you to create unique, branded links that reflect your content or campaign theme. By customizing the back-half, you can enhance link visibility, relevance, and memorability.

### Domain limit

In the free plan, you have the option to add up to 5 custom domains. This allowance enables you to manage multiple brands or campaigns under one PlutoLinks account while maintaining distinct branding for each.
